I'm Alex Cahill, and I've spent my professional life building, shaping, and guiding institutions and initiatives. My early career was in theatre as a professional director, where I developed a deep appreciation for leadership, collaboration, and bringing complex visions into reality. I later moved into higher education, serving as a university professor, program head, and institutional strategist, helping guide multi-million-dollar institutions through leadership and long-term planning.

Across these roles, my work consistently centred on structure, leadership, and thoughtful development — helping organisations grow in ways that are both sustainable and aligned with their deeper purpose.

When I became a homeschooling mother, my professional path shifted, but the work itself remained consistent. I began working directly with founders, particularly women and family-centred businesses, helping them strengthen leadership, clarify strategy, and build companies capable of lasting stability.

My academic and professional background includes a PhD, MLitt, PGCE, and two postgraduate certificates, along with formal training in business leadership and strategy.

Throughout my work, the guiding principle has remained the same: businesses and institutions thrive when leadership is thoughtful, structures are strong, and the work itself is rooted in values that extend beyond profit. I believe business can be a powerful form of stewardship — creating stability for families, opportunities for others, and lasting contributions to the communities we serve.
